During the spring 2023 semester, I got the opportunity to intern with the Virginia Beach Fieldhouse. At the Fieldhouse, I worked in several different departments, including: youth participation, business development, youth and adult leagues, concessions and customer service. Through the first five weeks, I worked in each department to learn about the different aspects of the Fieldhouse. During the last five weeks of my internship, I worked in both leagues and customer service. Through my experience, I learned how the Fieldhouse operates on a daily basis, what departments generate the most revenue, and how to effectively communicate with over 200 teams.
